Wedding day ♥ 23-06-2016
I'm now officially married to the love of my life.
That's a sentence I've always wanted to type, and now I can!
Me and my husband (Do I reeeally need to write his name? I honestly think you all know his name already. OKAY, Okay.. His name is Ezic@IMVU a.k.a Liam) have planned this wedding for a couple of weeks now. He actually surprised me by making a wedding-room all by himself, and also creating my wedding outfit! Is it odd that he's one of my favorite creators? Haha.
We had a really hard time finding a "priest" that could run our wedding ceremony without any religious aspects. But luckily my dear friend Mimi saved us in the last moment and hold the ceremony. She also hold a really beautiful speech that went straight into my heart. ♥
The wedding had a pretty rocky start and was delayed because some of the invited guests wasn't online in time. I was freaking out for a bit and thought we'd have to cancel the entire thing. Luckily everything went alright after a while and we started the ceremony,
And If we just can talk about the ceremony for a moment. I NEVER thought that I would get so emotionally affected and nervous. I was literally shaking when I was about to say my vows. I really started to realize how much this wedding meant for me, and how i wanted everything to be perfect.
After the ceremony everyone took their places at the dining area, a few people gave a speech and everyone was having a great time. It wasn't a HUGE wedding, but I think it was just big enough! It was sad that not everyone of our loved ones could show up of course, but it was cozy, private, personal and just perfect!
We started to take pictures later on during the night, and then we danced with the few remaining strong guests, haha.
I think that our wedding in many ways symbolized our relationship. (Brace yourself for the cheesyness..) Me and Liam have a long history together. And you can't be with a person for 4 years online without any drama. So yes, we've had our troubles during our relationship, but we've always found our way back together, and in the end everything turns out just like it should. That's how I feel about our wedding as well.
It was a night filled with music, memories, laughter, friendship and most of all.. Love! And that's what a wedding is all about.
