IMVU's summer trends 2016
Hello guys!
The summer is finally here and now its time to brace ourselves for the most popular trends this season. You've probably noticed some of them, and maybe you're even wearing one of these highly requested items right now.
The first trend I'm going to bring up is probably one of my favorites; The festival look.
Bohemian Chic is a style that will always be in my heart and I completely LOVE the new lace, fringe and floral items that have occupied the Top Catalog recently. The reason for this tremendous and sudden love to the Bohemian style is perhaps cause of the Choachella festival and their collaboration with H&M during the middle of this
spring. But who knows?.. Maybe the Hippie-style is back for good.
Hair buns in all shapes and sizes - Do I even have to say more? Braided buns, top buns, man buns, half-up buns, mickey mouse buns (i don't know the name of it.. But you get it.), messy buns, you name it! The buns are taking over!
RL and RLL sizes. I'm not really sure if this counts as a summer trend, or if its more of a forever-trend.
Small waists and big hips are getting more and more popular in the IMVU community. No offense to anyone liking these kind of products, but the fact that more creators are starting to only publish items in the RL- and RLL sizes is personally terrifying as a loyal RLS-user. I'm counting on you, creators.
Off-shoulder tops. I'm loving this! (to my boyfriends big dissatisfaction). I don't know why bare shoulders feel so satisfyingly summer-y, but I don't care! Heil off-shoulder tops!
